Business Ethics I think business and ethics need to go together in order to have a succesesful business. Usually a business is run by mind, a lot of people think that to be succesful in their jobs they just need to use their intelectual to achieve their goals, but I think they need heart too; in order to achieve what they want. Without being ethical in what you do people won't trust you and they won;t help you achieve your goals. Death Penalty Bassicaly death penalty consists in provoking death to someone that has commited a crime, it's a punishment for those criminals that deserve it. There are different ways this can happen, it can by with an electric chair, injecting poison, with a gun, decapitated, after trying different experiments in them, and other forms. Legal, social and religious norms Legal norms are practically laws that everyone needs to respect and take care of them, for example you can´t steal something from a store, if you do you get a punishment like being arrested. Values and anti-values Values take an important part of our daily life, we use them in every decision we make and influences what we think. Values a person's principles or standards of behavior; one's judgment of what is important in life. Values are like priorities in life you need them in order to succed, what I mean is that you can not be succesful if you do not know the basic values in life for example responsability, respect, tolrence, solidarity etc. If you do not treat people with respect they won't respect you and you can not succed. Would you sacrifice 1 person or 5? I do not think there is a right or wrong answer for this question, we all think different and have different values from when me grew up. In this question the example would be that there is a train going full speed in the direction that he is going there are five workers you get to choose if you want to change the direction of the tracks, but there is a problem in the other direction of the tracks there is one worker. Then you don't know who to save because you do not know if that one person is good or bad, the same happens with the other five what if they are bad people. How to choose between what's right and wrong Every one has grown with different types of life, you can not force someone that has been happy all their life to think the same as someone that has been sad all their life. What I mean is we all grew with different mind sets, and the people that sorruond us changes and have a huge impact in our decisions. If you went to a catholic school you may have different believes on what is wrong or right from a person that went to a public school.
