Values and anti-values Values take an important part of our daily life, we use them in every decision we make and influences what we think. Values a person's principles or standards of behavior; one's judgment of what is important in life. Values are like priorities in life you need them in order to succed, what I mean is that you can not be succesful if you do not know the basic values in life for example responsability, respect, tolrence, solidarity etc. If you do not treat people with respect they won't respect you and you can not succed. Anti- values are values that have a predictably bad outcome. These include dominance, revenge, sadism, ideology, hardness, and exclusivity. It is important to note that anti- values are not synonymous with the excess or deficiency of another value. Would you sacrifice 1 person or 5? I do not think there is a right or wrong answer for this question, we all think different and have different values from when me grew up. In this question the example would be that there is a train going full speed in the direction that he is going there are five workers you get to choose if you want to change the direction of the tracks, but there is a problem in the other direction of the tracks there is one worker. Then you don't know who to save because you do not know if that one person is good or bad, the same happens with the other five what if they are bad people. You would think that sacrifying just one person is the right thing to do becuase it is not the same loosing just one person as you would loose five. How to choose between what's right and wrong Every one has grown with different types of life, you can not force someone that has been happy all their life to think the same as someone that has been sad all their life. What I mean is we all grew with different mind sets, and the people that sorruond us changes and have a huge impact in our decisions. If you went to a catholic school you may have different believes on what is wrong or right from a person that went to a public school.
